Kickstand Replacement

Getting ready

It is advised to wear suitable protective personal equipment (PPE) and be in safe working environment. Before starting this maintenance process, below tasks must be completed:

Disconnect battery / power supply

Tools required

Torque Driver

Parts required

You will need to prepare the listed parts for this maintenance procedure.

Replacement Kickstand
x 1 unit

Step 1 Removing old kickstand

1.1 Extend the kickstand to its maximum point.
1.2 Using a torque driver, loosen up 1 unit of Flat Head screw. Remove the screw and set it aside.
1.3 Then, retract the kickstand back into its original position.
1.4 Using a torque drive, loosen up 2 units of Socket Head screws. Remove the screws and set it aside.
1.5 Remove the old kickstand from the Stand Cam.

Step 2 Installing new kickstand

2.1 Take the new kickstand & align to its correct screw holes. Ensure that all screw holes are aligned.
2.2 Using a torque driver, insert 1 unit of M4 Flat Head Cap screw and firmly tighten it.
2.3 Retract the kickstand into its close position.
2.4 Using a torque driver, insert 2 units of M3 Socket Head Cap screws and firmly tighten it.
